Over 2,500 people saw in the New Year with us at the SOLD OUT Purple Sneakers New Years Eve House Party. We had 3 different stages on 3 different levels at Manning Bar all jammed packed with punters. Purple Sneakers NYE Caused Big Bangs!
Well we hyped until we could hype no more! And it was all worth it because Purple Sneakers New Years Eve House Party SOLD OUT! We jammed 2500 dudes and dude babes into Manning House for the most bangin' party to happen on New Years Eve. There were count downs from party boys PhDJ, Spod, bLuejuice and cowbell, much pashing happening in darkened corners, red carpet style photo shoots, crowd stage mobbings and multiple screenings of Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey (due to request!).
Not to forget The Teenagers sexy on-stage antics and Frightened Rabbit all-out crowd sing-alongs. So we all high-fived and pulled out our big red stamp and stamped SUCCESS all over that sucker! And the best news....now we can start planning for next year! Stay tuned.....

Almost Sold Out - A Few Tix Available Online and On The Night!!
There's only one more sleep until our massive Purple Sneakers New Years Eve House Party!! No sh*t it has almost sold out!! That mean's there's gonna be over 2000 party peeps in the house tomorrow night. Free NYE Shuttle Bus
Wondering how you're going to brave the traffic to get home after the Purple Sneakers New Years Eve House Party? Well it's all sorted because we've organised two special FREE shuttle buses that run from outside the main entrance of Manning House to Central Station. They'll be leaving every 30 minutes from 10pm all the way until 5am! All so you don't have to stress about finding a taxi! And we promise that it will look nothing like the one above!

5 Second Quiz For NYE House Party Acts
In our FINAL Purple Sneakers NYE House Party 5 second quiz segment we'll be having a little chat with the boys from Mixtape Mafia to find out what makes their NYE a bomb or a bust.

What's your most memorable NYE experience? One year, at a certain Beach-fronted music festival, Julz got so caught up in the moment that he believed the sandy Glow Stick he'd found was sent from God to bless everyone for new year. He appointed Blake as his high priest, and with a congregation including two Bishops and an altar boy, for the next 4 hours went on to anoint close to 200 people; with nought but a smile on his face (not to mention nose pipes still in place from the onsite oxygen bar). Only one person told me to fuck off. Didn't even see Fatboy Slim...
What's the worst thing that's happened to you on NYE? The time when Blake thought his friends had a 'special guest' at their NYE party, and then found out it WASN'T Phil Drummond from K.L.F, Jake OR Stav from Bluejuice, Tia Carerra from Wayne's World or the hand that plays Agro from Cartoon Connection. It turned out to be Julz. Blake cried. Julz got paid heaps that night though.
What do you do when the clock strikes 12? Pray to thou Lord of Party Radness that the sun will rise, that the plague is banished forever more, that the dude/dudette that you pashed at 10:30pm doesn't see you hooking into his/her friend for the midnight countdown and that the booze lasts longer than you can stand. Amen-tacular
Any new year's resolutions for '09? Fitter. Healthier. More Productive. Comfortable. Not drinking too much. Regular exercise at the gym, 3 days a week. Getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries.......
To guarantee an amazing New Years Eve you should...Be the first person do many-a-great-thing as the clock strikes 12, and exclaim loudly that you are The First Person To: be naked at a party ALL YEAR / do a body shot off Spod ALL YEAR / enjoy the company and embracing touch of the bathroom floor, ALL YEAR etc.. You should probably also be the first person to puke all year too.
